Zeritu kebede

Her name is zeritu. I strongly believe she is the first music revolutionist residing in Ethiopia. Her songs are totally different than the songs U used to hear. She have amazing resemblance with Shakira(Lebanese Colombian artist) mainly the song called Alekefam .
she make me her fan after few minutes of listening her songs.

zeritu is one of a kind. never before in our musical tradition has any one departed from the usual style the same way zeritu did. she is a true revolutionary in her own right. i can not help but listen to her unique voice again and again.

Zeritu, well done on a new and inviting style but most of all for daring to bring out some family issues that occour in many cases. Hope this allows people to mend their ways and discussing issues is part of solving the problem.

I just got Zeritu's album from an Ethiopian friend. From the first song I was hooked. Really a great sound and great voice. Far better than someone like Shania Twain, I must say. With a few songs in English, she could get a following in the US and Europe. Even in Amharic, with a little publicity, she could gain a following in the "World Music" community. Her album is not on Amazon. It should be.

The best thing I ever heard in a short visit to Addis was Zeritu! Come to Botswana! Many people want me to give them copies of your album. I refuse! Sell them here! Charles lightbooks@it.bw

Hello! Nani. Your voice is so beautiful and you are also beautiful. I like a typical traditional Masinko and kirar type Ethiopian music. In order for me to listen to a modern Ethiopian song, It would have to be an extremely good one and you are one of the very few I admire a lot.
A relative you had never met yet, from Alexandria, VA. God Bless You and my prayers are with you.
